We are looking for a Staff Full-Stack Engineer (Next.js, Medusa) for work in Berlin or Paris, or remote within the EU, Germany.

Staff Full-Stack Engineer responsible for the technical direction, architecture, performance, reliability and security of a growing European perfume e-commerce platform built with Next.js, Medusa, Node.js, TypeScript and PostgreSQL.

This Staff Full-Stack Engineer (Next.js, Medusa) Germany position offers a salary of 140000–185000 EUR/year gross plus Annual performance bonus.

1. Work as a Staff Full-Stack Engineer (Next.js, Medusa) in Berlin or Paris, or remote within the EU, Germany.

1. Experience: 10+ years building production web systems, including experience at staff or principal level.
2. 10+ years of experience building production web systems, including staff- or principal-level experience.
3. Expertise in TypeScript, React and Next.js.
4. Strong Node.js and PostgreSQL skills.
5. Experience with payments, headless commerce or high-traffic e-commerce.

1. Shape the architecture of the commerce platform across the Next.js storefront and Medusa backend.
2. Build and improve the in-house Stripe checkout, including multi-currency and multi-language support.
3. Lead performance optimisation and Core Web Vitals improvements across devices.
4. Drive reliability, observability and security, including monitoring and incident learning.
5. Set engineering standards, review code and mentor engineers while collaborating with product, growth and operations.

The salary for this position is 140000–185000 EUR/year gross.

An additional Annual performance bonus is available.
