Job Description
We are currently looking for roofers or roofing apprentices who want to develop a long-term career in the roofing industry in the UK. The role mainly involves roof repairs and maintenance work on residential properties. Basic roofing knowledge is an advantage, but not essential, as full training is provided for motivated candidates.
This position is suitable for qualified roofers, labourers with basic construction or DIY experience, and apprentices who are reliable, physically fit, and comfortable working at heights.
Responsibilities
- Roof repair and maintenance works
- Carrying out small jobs from ladders and roof ladders
- Supporting experienced roofers on site
- Ensuring high standards of workmanship and safety
- Working in accordance with UK health and safety regulations
Requirements
- Willingness to work at heights
- Basic roofing or DIY experience (preferred but not essential)
- Ability to learn quickly and work independently over time
- Driving licence required (at least one candidate if applying as a pair)
- Basic level of English
- Non-smoker preferred but not essential
Salary and Benefits
- Hourly rate: £12–£20 (depending on experience)
- Working hours: 40 hours per week
- 28 days of paid holiday per year

Accommodation
Temporary accommodation can be provided if required:
- Town house with two separate bedrooms
- Small garden
- Rental period: up to 4 months
- Cost: £500 per month per person

- Transport provided
Candidates may choose to arrange their own accommodation after an initial period.
