Requirements
- Experience: Previous workshop experience as a car, van, truck or vehicle mechanic; experience with vehicle maintenance, mechanical repairs, fault diagnosis and diagnostic equipment.
- Previous workshop experience as a car, van, truck or vehicle mechanic.
- Good practical knowledge of vehicle maintenance and mechanical repairs.
- Experience identifying faults and using diagnostic equipment.
- Ability to work independently and complete tasks accurately.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out routine servicing, inspections and preventive maintenance.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical and technical faults using appropriate equipment.
- Repair engines, brakes, suspension and steering systems.
- Replace worn or damaged vehicle components.
- Use workshop tools and diagnostic equipment safely and maintain an organised workplace.
Salary and Schedule
The salary for this position is Approximately 4,000 ISK/hour.
Working hours: Approximately 40–50 hours per week.
