We are currently looking for a Tyre Fitter to join a well-established and growing tyre service team based in Co. Cork. The role involves fitting and repairing tyres for passenger cars, vans, commercial and agricultural vehicles, as well as wheel balancing and basic safety checks. This is a stable position offering €16 per hour, steady working hours and a safe, well-organised working environment.
Rate of pay €16 per hr
Responsibilities include:
- Fitting and repairing tyres on cars, vans, commercial and agricultural vehicles
- Wheel balancing and alignment
- Inspecting tyres for wear, damage and safety issues
- Using tyre fitting and balancing equipment safely
- Providing good customer service and advice when needed
- Keeping the work area clean and following health and safety procedures
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a tyre fitter (preferred but not essential)
- Good knowledge of tyres and vehicle safety
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Physical fitness and attention to detail
- Full Category B driving licence
