This role is based in a pharmaceutical production environment in Barnstaple. You will operate and monitor manufacturing machines, follow standard operating procedures, and ensure product quality and safety throughout the production process. The workplace is clean, organised, and compliant with strict industry standards.
- Operate production machinery and support daily manufacturing output
- Set up, start and stop machines according to procedures
- Monitor parameters, report deviations, and document production steps
- Carry out basic adjustments and minor troubleshooting (within competence)
- Perform quality checks and ensure products meet required standards
- Maintain cleanliness and follow hygiene & safety rules (GMP-style environment)
- Experience as a machine/operator in manufacturing (pharma/food/clean production is an advantage)
- Ability to follow procedures and work accurately with documentation
- Good understanding of safety rules and quality standards
- Reliability, punctuality, and team-oriented attitude
- English communication at workplace level
- £20 per hour (fixed hourly rate)
