Caregiver / Elderly Care Assistant – Bielefeld, Germany | €18 gross/hour | Nursing Home | Full-Time Job 2026

We are hiring a caregiver for a well-organised nursing home in Bielefeld. The role focuses on daily support for elderly residents, helping with personal care, mobility, and comfort, while working closely with nurses and the care team. • Support residents with daily activities (washing, dressing, meals)
• Assist with mobility and safe transfers (walking, wheelchair, bed)
• Provide companionship and ensure comfort and dignity
• Help with basic housekeeping tasks around residents’ rooms (as needed)
• Observe residents’ condition and report changes to nursing staff
• Follow hygiene, safety, and facility procedures at all times

• Experience in elderly care, nursing home or home care is an advantage
• Basic German or English is helpful (German preferred)
• Kind attitude, patience, and strong sense of responsibility
• Ability to work in shifts (including weekends if scheduled)
• EU passport or valid right to work in Germany

• Full-time employment (typical care-facility rota)
• Day and/or night shifts depending on staffing needs
• Weekend work possible (according to schedule)
• Overtime and shift bonuses may apply (as agreed)

• €18 gross per hour with regular payments
