Requirements
- Experience: Several years of professional welding experience; experience with steel structures required. Previous shipyard experience is a strong advantage.
- Several years of professional welding experience, including steel structures.
- Valid MIG 135 and MAG 135/136 welding certificates.
- Ability to weld in different positions and perform tightness welding.
- Ability to read technical drawings and use grinders and other power tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform MIG and MAG welding in different positions on steel structures and ship hull components.
- Prepare materials and joints, and follow technical drawings and required specifications.
- Carry out tightness welds and finish welded elements using grinders and power tools when required.
- Inspect completed welds and report defects or technical problems.
- Follow health and safety procedures and maintain a clean, organised work area.
Salary and Schedule
The salary for this position is 193.50 DKK/hour gross.
Working hours: Approximately 55 hours per week; overtime may be available and is paid according to applicable employment conditions..
