Scania Mechanic job Faroe Islands

We are looking for an experienced Scania Mechanic for long-term work in the Faroe Islands.

The role includes servicing, diagnosing and repairing Scania trucks, heavy vehicles and trailers.

The position is suitable for a skilled mechanic who can work independently and solve technical problems in a professional workshop environment.

1. Salary of approximately 230 DKK/hour.
2. Approximately 50–60 working hours per week.
3. Accommodation provided by the employer.

1. Previous experience as a truck, HGV or heavy vehicle mechanic.
2. Practical experience with Scania trucks is strongly preferred.
3. Knowledge of diesel engines, brakes, suspension and vehicle diagnostics.
4. Ability to work independently and solve technical problems.
5. English language skills for workplace communication.
6. Driving licence required or strongly preferred.
7. Readiness to relocate to the Faroe Islands.

1. Service and repair Scania trucks and other heavy vehicles.
2. Carry out maintenance and repair work on trailers.
3. Diagnose mechanical, electrical and technical faults.
4. Repair brakes, suspension, steering and drivetrain components.
5. Perform inspections and preventive maintenance.
6. Replace worn or damaged vehicle parts.
7. Use workshop tools and diagnostic equipment safely.

The salary is approximately 230 DKK per hour, with around 50–60 working hours per week.

The position offers long-term work in a truck workshop servicing Scania vehicles, heavy trucks and trailers.

Final working hours, contract conditions and other employment details are agreed directly with the employer.

Accommodation is provided by the employer, making relocation to the Faroe Islands easier for the selected candidate.
