1. Service, repair and maintain Scania trucks and other heavy goods vehicles.

5. Perform regular inspections, preventive maintenance and service work.

7. Use workshop tools, diagnostic equipment and technical documentation.
8. Prepare trucks and trailers for safe operation and road use.
9. Report technical issues, repair progress and parts requirements to supervisors.

1. Previous experience as a Scania Mechanic, Truck Mechanic, HGV Mechanic or Heavy Vehicle Mechanic is required.
2. Experience with Scania trucks is strongly preferred.
3. Experience with trailer repairs, brakes, suspension and general trailer maintenance is welcome.
4. Good practical knowledge of diesel engines, truck mechanics and vehicle diagnostics.
5. Ability to work independently and solve technical problems.
6. Driving licence is required or strongly preferred.
7. English language skills are required for workplace communication.
8. Reliability, punctuality and responsible approach to work are required.
9. Readiness to relocate to the Faroe Islands and start work as soon as possible.
10. Valid right to work in the Faroe Islands or ability to obtain the required work and residence permit is required.

The salary for this position is approximately 230 DKK per hour. The final amount may depend on experience, skills and agreement with the employer.

The working schedule is approximately 50–60 hours per week, depending on workload, workshop needs and agreement with the employer.
