Tyre Fitter Ireland – Cork | 17 EUR/hour + Weekly Bonus

We are looking for two Tyre Fitters for work in Rathcormac, County Cork, Ireland.

The selected employees will assist with fitting, removing, checking and maintaining tyres on customer vehicles.

The position is suitable for candidates who are practical, responsible and comfortable working with vehicles, workshop tools and tyre-fitting equipment.

Previous tyre-fitting experience is an advantage, but candidates without extensive experience may also apply because training will be provided.

This Tyre Fitter Ireland position offers a starting rate of 17 EUR per hour and an additional weekly bonus of 100 EUR.

1. Removing worn or damaged tyres from vehicle wheels.
2. Installing new or replacement tyres correctly and safely.
3. Using tyre-changing machines and standard workshop equipment.
4. Checking tyres for visible damage, wear and incorrect pressure.
5. Inflating tyres to the required pressure.
6. Assisting with wheel balancing and related tyre-service work.
7. Checking valves and replacing them when required.
8. Helping identify punctures and other common tyre problems.
9. Moving wheels and tyres safely within the workshop.
10. Following instructions provided by experienced workshop employees.
11. Keeping tools, equipment and the work area clean and organized.
12. Following workplace health and safety procedures.

1. A valid category B driving licence.
2. Good English language skills for workplace communication.
3. Previous tyre-fitting or automotive workshop experience is an advantage.
4. Experience is not essential because training will be provided.
5. Ability to follow instructions and learn practical workshop procedures.
6. Responsible and careful approach to vehicles and equipment.
7. Ability to perform practical and physically active work.
8. Good teamwork and communication skills.
9. Readiness to work in Rathcormac, County Cork.

The starting salary for this position is 17 EUR per hour.

Employees will also receive an additional 100 EUR weekly bonus.

Any additional employment conditions will be explained before the employee starts work in Ireland.

Accommodation can be provided to employees who need a place to stay near the workplace.

The accommodation cost is 100 EUR per week.

An additional 25 EUR per week is charged for utilities.

The total stated accommodation and utility cost is therefore 125 EUR per week.

The accommodation arrangement and availability should be confirmed before travelling to Ireland.

Previous tyre-fitting experience is useful but is not required for every candidate.

Training will be provided to suitable employees who demonstrate a responsible attitude and willingness to learn.

New employees may receive instructions on the correct use of tyre-changing machines, wheel-balancing equipment and standard workshop tools.

Employees must follow the instructions of experienced workshop staff and apply all required safety procedures.

The work may involve tyre-changing machines, wheel-balancing equipment, air compressors, pressure gauges, jacks and standard hand tools.

Tools should be checked before use and returned to the correct storage location after completing the work.

Any damaged equipment or unsafe condition must be reported immediately.

Tyre-fitting work must be performed carefully to protect employees, customers and vehicles.

Employees must follow workshop procedures when lifting vehicles, removing wheels and operating tyre-fitting equipment.

Suitable protective clothing and footwear should be worn during workshop work.

The workplace must be kept clean and free from unnecessary tools, tyres and other obstacles.

Training and safety instructions must be followed at all times.
