Key Responsibilities
- Preparing steel reinforcement according to project requirements.
- Cutting, bending and shaping reinforcing bars for concrete elements.
- Installing reinforcement for foundation slabs, footings and reinforced concrete structures.
- Tying and securing rebar using appropriate tools and methods.
- Working with reinforcement drawings and basic technical documentation.
- Checking spacing, cover, positioning and stability of reinforcement before concreting.
