As a Specialist Orthodontist, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing and treating patients requiring orthodontic care in a private practice environment. The role includes preparing personalised treatment plans, delivering specialist orthodontic procedures and maintaining excellent clinical standards across all stages of treatment. This position is ideal for a patient-focused clinician with strong communication skills, advanced orthodontic knowledge and the ability to provide a high standard of care for both adults and children.
- Providing specialist orthodontic consultations, diagnosis and treatment planning
- Delivering a full range of orthodontic treatments to a high clinical standard
- Monitoring patient progress and adjusting treatment plans where required
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date clinical records
- Explaining treatment options, procedures and expected outcomes clearly to patients
- Working closely with the wider dental team to ensure excellent patient experience
- Ensuring full compliance with clinical governance, health and safety and regulatory standards
- Contributing to the continued growth and reputation of the practice
- Minimum 5 years of experience in orthodontics required
- Current GDC registration as a dentist in the United Kingdom required
- Eligibility to work as a Specialist Orthodontist in the UK required
- Inclusion on the relevant GDC Specialist List preferred / expected for specialist title use
- Strong clinical knowledge and excellent orthodontic treatment skills
- Patient-focused approach and high standards of professionalism
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a professional team
- Right to work in the United Kingdom required
