1. Experience: Previous experience as a Kitchen Assistant or in a similar role.

4. Knowledge of food hygiene and safety regulations, supported by a valid Food Handler certificate or recognised UK equivalent.
5. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and remain standing for extended periods.

1. Prepare and serve meals and beverages to residents and visitors.
2. Assist with food preparation and maintain hygiene in kitchen, food preparation and serving areas.
3. Wash dishes, cutlery and kitchen equipment, and store crockery and equipment correctly.
4. Monitor and record fridge and freezer temperatures and maintain basic food supply records.
5. Follow food safety procedures and report faulty equipment, damage or potential hazards.

The salary for this position is TBC.

Working hours: 30–40 hours per week.
