We are looking for a Field Technician / Ground Worker for work in Wicklow and Athenry; projects nationwide, Ireland.

Long-term opportunity for two Field Technicians / Ground Workers supporting environmental, construction and ground investigation projects across Ireland. The role combines practical groundwork, sampling and technical site record keeping, with specialist training provided.

This Field Technician / Ground Worker Ireland position offers a salary of 33,000–35,000 EUR/hour gross.

1. Experience: Previous experience in groundwork, construction or a similar physically demanding outdoor role. Experience with specialist field investigation equipment is not required, as training is provided.
2. Previous experience in groundwork, construction or a similar physically demanding outdoor role.
3. Good command of English and good communication skills.
4. Full and valid driving licence.
5. Willingness to travel throughout Ireland, work outdoors in different weather conditions and occasionally stay away overnight.

1. Carry out groundwork and general site support duties.
2. Assist with environmental and geotechnical site investigations.
3. Collect soil, groundwater and other field samples using hand augers and specialist sampling equipment.
4. Prepare simple site sketches and maps, record measurements and maintain accurate field documentation.
5. Follow quality, health, safety and environmental procedures and communicate professionally with colleagues, clients and site representatives.

The salary for this position is 33,000–35,000 EUR/hour gross.

Working hours: 40 hours per week.

The work takes place in Wicklow and Athenry; projects nationwide, Ireland in the Environmental, construction and ground investigation sector.

Long-term employment.

Work is mainly based around Wicklow and Athenry, with regular travel to project sites nationwide.

Overnight stays may be required.

Specialist technical, field investigation and health and safety training is provided.

Travel expenses from Poland are reimbursed up to £100. Meals are not provided.

Planned start: As soon as possible.
