We are looking for a MAG 135 Steel Structure Welder / Steel Fabricator for work in Winterthur, Switzerland.

A steel fabrication company in Winterthur is seeking experienced MAG 135 welders and steel fabricators to produce steel masts, poles and heavy structural steel components for industrial, infrastructure and utility projects.

This MAG 135 Steel Structure Welder / Steel Fabricator Switzerland position offers a salary of 40 CHF/hour gross.

1. Work as a MAG 135 Steel Structure Welder / Steel Fabricator in Winterthur, Switzerland.

1. Experience: Minimum 3 years of professional welding experience, including MAG 135 welding and work with carbon or structural steel.
2. At least 3 years of professional welding experience.
3. Good practical experience with MAG 135 welding and carbon or structural steel.
4. Experience with medium and heavy steel structures.
5. Ability to read technical drawings and perform high-quality fillet and butt welds.

1. Weld structural steel, masts, poles and heavy steel sections using the MAG 135 process.
2. Prepare, position and tack-weld components, including flanges, base plates, stiffeners and connection elements.
3. Assemble steel structures according to technical drawings and welding instructions.
4. Grind and finish welded joints and use workshop tools such as grinders and cutting equipment.
5. Check dimensions, geometry and visual weld quality while following workplace health and safety procedures.

The salary for this position is 40 CHF/hour gross.

Working hours: Full-time, approximately 42–45 hours per week, Monday to Friday; shift work may be required and overtime may be available.
