We are looking for a Stone Mason for work in Galway, Ireland.

An established Irish civil engineering and construction contractor is seeking four experienced Stone Masons for long-term work in County Galway. The role involves traditional stone masonry, restoration and construction work on bridges, heritage structures and stone walls.

1. Experience: Previous professional experience as a Stone Mason or Stonemason; experience with natural stone is required. Experience in heritage restoration, bridge masonry or traditional stonework is an advantage.
2. Previous professional experience as a Stone Mason or Stonemason.
3. Good knowledge of traditional stone masonry techniques.
4. Experience working with natural stone.
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a construction team.

1. Build and restore natural stone structures, walls, bridges and heritage elements.
2. Repair traditional and historic stone masonry.
3. Lay, shape and fit natural and reclaimed stone.
4. Repoint stonework and work with mortar.
5. Use professional masonry hand and power tools while following site safety and quality standards.

The salary for this position is TBC.
