Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Pork Deboner / Butcher for one of Norway’s leading companies in the meat-processing industry. The workplace is located in the Trondheim area and operates according to modern Norwegian production, hygiene and food-safety standards.
The role involves deboning pork cuts, removing bones from pork meat, trimming, preparing meat for further processing and maintaining high quality and efficiency during production. This is a practical position for candidates who already have solid experience with knife work in pork processing.

Key Responsibilities
- Deboning pork cuts and removing bones from pork meat according to production standards.
- Trimming meat and preparing pork products for further processing.
- Using knives and meat-processing tools safely, precisely and efficiently.
- Maintaining high quality, correct cutting technique and good product yield.
- Following hygiene, food-safety and HACCP procedures in the production area.
- Working on the production line or at a dedicated deboning station.
- Keeping the workplace clean, organised and safe during the shift.
- Cooperating with supervisors, quality control and other production workers.
- Following daily production targets and company standards.
- Reporting any quality, safety or technical issues to the supervisor.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a butcher, pork deboner, meat cutter or meat-processing worker.
- Practical experience in pork deboning is strongly required.
- Good knife skills and ability to work with precision and speed.
- Experience in industrial meat processing or slaughterhouse production is an advantage.
- Ability to work in a cold production environment.
- Good physical condition and readiness for repetitive manual work.
- Understanding of hygiene, food safety and production quality rules.
- Communicative English language skills are welcome; Norwegian language skills are an advantage.
- Reliability, punctuality and a responsible approach to work.
- EU citizenship or valid right to work in Norway.
Employment Conditions
The salary range for this position is 270–300 NOK gross per hour, depending on the candidate’s experience, practical skills and results during the recruitment process.
The final hourly rate will be confirmed individually with the employer after an interview and, if required, a practical skills test connected with pork deboning and knife work.
This is a full-time position in a professional meat-processing plant in the Trondheim area. Work may be organised in shifts depending on production needs.
Overtime, shift supplements and other employment conditions will be confirmed directly with the employer according to the employment contract and applicable Norwegian rules.
