The Carpenter will support construction and renovation work in Cork, carrying out both structural and finishing carpentry tasks on residential and commercial projects. The role includes measuring, cutting, assembling and installing wooden elements, as well as following site plans and maintaining high workmanship standards. This position is ideal for a practical and experienced candidate who can work independently and deliver reliable on-site results.
- Carrying out general carpentry work on construction and renovation projects
- Measuring, cutting and fitting wood and other building materials
- Installing doors, frames, partitions, floors and finishing elements
- Reading technical drawings and following site instructions
- Using hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently
- Checking the quality of completed work and making adjustments when needed
- Maintaining order and safety on the construction site
- Previous experience as a Carpenter, Joiner or in a similar role
- Good practical skills and confidence in working with wood and construction materials
- Ability to read technical drawings is an advantage
- Basic English communication skills
- Reliability, precision and good work organisation
