We are seeking a qualified Plant Mechanic to maintain and repair heavy construction and plant machinery in Drogheda. The role includes workshop-based maintenance as well as on-site service and breakdown response. You will work with excavators, loaders, telehandlers and other heavy equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical and hydraulic faults on plant machinery
- Carry out repairs, servicing and preventative maintenance
- Perform engine, gearbox and hydraulic system repairs
- Respond to breakdowns and provide on-site technical support
- Maintain service records and technical documentation
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and procedures
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Plant Mechanic or Heavy Equipment Mechanic
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics and mechanical systems
- Ability to work independently and diagnose faults efficiently
- English communication skills for technical reporting
- Full driving licence (preferred)
