We are looking for a Chef de Partie to join a well-organised restaurant kitchen in Oxford city centre. You will be responsible for running your section during service, preparing dishes to a high standard, and supporting the Head Chef and team. The role is ideal for a motivated chef who enjoys a fast-paced environment and consistent quality expectations.
- Run your section during lunch/dinner service (prep + execution)
- Prepare dishes according to restaurant standards and recipes
- Ensure clean, organised mise en place and station setup
- Maintain hygiene procedures (HACCP-style routines) and safe food handling
- Control stock on your section and minimise waste
- Support junior staff and communicate effectively with the kitchen team
- Experience as Chef de Partie (or strong Demi Chef ready to step up)
- English speaking – able to communicate during service
- Good knowledge of kitchen hygiene and food safety
- Ability to work under pressure in a busy restaurant
- Reliability, punctuality, and teamwork attitude
- £17 per hour (stable full-time work)
