We are looking for an experienced Stone Mason to join a busy and well-established stone fabrication factory in Cork. The role involves cutting, shaping, polishing and finishing stone surfaces to a high standard, using modern machinery alongside traditional hand tools. You will be responsible for producing high-quality stone products such as countertops, vanity tops and custom-made pieces, ensuring accuracy, excellent finish and consistent quality control at every stage.

In this position you will work with templates, measurements and technical drawings, prepare cut-outs (e.g., sinks/hobs) when required, and complete edge profiles and final polishing before products are packed for delivery or installation. You will also be expected to maintain an organised workspace, look after tools and equipment, and follow all health & safety procedures to ensure a safe and efficient production environment. Duties & responsibilities
- Stone cutting, shaping and edge finishing (manual and machine polishing)
- Fabrication of stone components (e.g., countertops, panels, custom pieces)
- Measuring, marking and working from drawings/templates
- Drilling/cutting openings (sink/hob cut-outs) when required
- Quality control, packing and preparing products for transport
- Keeping the workspace clean and following health & safety procedures
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in stone fabrication/polishing
- Basic English (work communication)
- Good attention to detail, reliability, and ability to work independently
